From beginner to champion, great shooting is built on technique and won in the mind. I know what it takes to build to build both. Book a lesson today by clicking the button or call me at 303-378-0555.

My Methodology
We start with the fundamentals that everything else is built on, build real and appreciable gains through structured practice, and develop the mental tools to perform consistently. Where you take it from there is up to you — my job is to put you in the best possible position to meet your own peak.
01 — Vision – Eye dominance
Dominance isn’t binary — it exists on a spectrum, and the right solution depends on your specific situation and your goals. I use an assessment developed by world-class ophthalmologists and industry professionals to determine exactly where you sit, and we choose a solution that fits you rather than defaulting to a one-size-fits-all workaround.
02 — Foundation – Gun fit
Fit affects everything — recoil, feel, point of impact, and how you mount the gun. Your first lesson includes a fit assessment and recommendations. If your stock is adjustable, I’ll adjust it on the spot. If it isn’t, I have implements available to get you into the right position while we work.
03 — Interface – Gun mount
Shotgunning is a dynamic sport — you’re almost never shooting from a static position. A mount that isn’t natural and repeatable will cost you targets when pressure rises. We’ll build one that works for your body and your style, one you can replicate without thinking about it.
04 — Strategy – Target planning and reading
Before you can build a plan, you need to read the target accurately — speed, line, distance, and where your highest percentage break zone is. From there, every element of your setup has a purpose: foot position, visual hold point, gun hold, break zone. We’ll work on reading presentations you haven’t seen before and building a planning process you can trust under pressure, on any course, anywhere.
05 — Mental game – Mental management
Shooting breaks down mentally before it breaks down physically. A structured pre-shot routine, clear frameworks for decision-making, and defined control measures give you something concrete to fall back on when conditions get difficult. We’ll build deliberate, repeatable behaviours that keep you process-focused and performing at your peak, regardless of what’s happening around you.
06 — Mastery – Execution
The goal is to make great shooting automatic. Through deliberate practice you’ll develop the ability to self-diagnose in real time, make adjustments mid-round, and trust your subconscious when it counts. That’s the difference between shooters who plateau and those who keep improving.
